Project to ensure rights for all, including Dalits with disabilities funded by Minority Rights Group (MRG) (Timeline – till December 2024)
The project has set the following objectives:
- Identify the situation of Dalit with Disabilities in Nepal through a scientific study focussing their access to programs and budget of the local bodies in Nepal.
- Sensitize, lobby and advocate with the government officials and elected representatives for developing programs and allocation of necessary budget targeting to Dalit with disabilities in Nepal.
The project has the following activities to achieve the objectives:
- Training on data collection for advocacy on public budget monitoring and allocation.
- Study about situation of the Dalit with disabilities in Nepal.
- National consultation and briefing meeting with stakeholders.
- Lobby and advocacy meeting with government and stakeholders.
